The JR Schoen Memorial Foundation Inc. has supported many charities and organizations throughout the years.
The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke Cancer Institute – A global leader of hope courageously leading the quest to conquer brain cancer. The Foundation has made numerous substantial contributions to this prestigious institution that is making great strides in brain cancer research.
JR’s Ray of Hope – A part of the Foundation that was created to help support local families because the Schoen family was so touched by the generosity of people within their community. JR’s Ray of Hope donates to families with school-age children within Darien who are experiencing a very serious medical issue, injury, hardship, or death of an immediate family member.
JR Schoen Memorial Scholarship – A scholarship for various members of graduating classes of Darien High School who exemplify kindness and involvement in their community.
